ISPIM Grand Prize Asia-Pacific 2016

ISPIM, the International Society for Professional Innovation Management, is delighted to launch the first ISPIM Grand Prize (Asia Pacific), a competition to recognise excellence in the areas of innovation management.

All commercial enterprises, including not-for-profit entities in Asia Pacific region are invited to participate in the esteemed competition. The competition is not intended for academic institutions.

Why join? 
We think outstanding innovation management really matters, especially because great products are the result of excellent innovation management. However, only the final product makes headlines most of the time yet the process goes unrecorded. Therefore, we'd like to reward the outstanding work that innovation professionals do to deliver great innovation to the market.

We're looking for cases that significantly advance the practice of innovation management in proven application and not just theory.  What we're interested in is to see how innovation is managed, not just proposals describing the what, or the actual end output.

How to join

2. What you'll need to do:

• Provide the name of your Innovation Initiative
• Briefly describe the background to your innovation initiative and state what specific opportunity it addressed.
• What were the specific barriers, challenges or problems you had to overcome?
• What did you do to address the opportunity and overcome the challenges?
• What was the outcome of your innovation initiative? What were the results and their impact?
• Why are you proud of your innovation initiative?  Why do you believe it is novel?

3. Important dates

• 30 October 2016 : Closing date for submission
• 7 November 2016: Notification of top 3 finalists who will present during the ISPIM Summit to be held in Kuala Lumpur
• 5 December 2016: Presentation and selection of winner
