The ACT Programme provides a holistic approach towards transformation, in a systematic structure, helping companies reduce the latency between insight to action and from action to impact. Focused on achieving tangible outcomes, we are able to blend various techniques, Design Thinking, Agile & Scrum Methodologies, Business Model Canvas and apply them where appropriate to ensure the intended outcomes are realised.

Structured Pathway to Transformation

STEP 1 : Assessment 
Initial assessments are utilised to have an indication of the baseline organisation Innovation and Transformation Readiness. This is a combination of the Exponential Organisation Assessment together with our bespoke assessment and is aimed to provide a more data-driven assessment of the organisation's capacity, capability and underlying culture in its aim to undertake the transformation. The assessment shall also simultaneously allow for a more objective impact assessment at the completion of the Digital Transformation project.

Outcomes from the assessment can be analysed to a granular level, across all positions and departments. This will quickly identify potential obstacles to the transformation which need to be addressed.

STEP 2 : Crafting the Transformation Strategy
This stage focuses on the detailed execution of how the transformation is supposed to take place. The six elements of our Transformation Strategy are referenced and the team shall work with each company to craft a bespoke transformation strategy to ensure that there are clear goals, engagement strategy of employees, measurement of potential ROI etc.

STEP 3 : Solution Capture
This step focuses on maximising the reach to tap on either the internal or external community for ideas. The external community may be made up of partners, suppliers or customers. Digital tools are leveraged upon to optimise reach and minimise resources required.​

STEP 4 : Prototype
From the solutions portfolio, several are chosen to be transformed into initial creations. These initial creations will show the basics of what the product/idea will look like, what it will do and how it operates. After reviewing the prototype, solid ideas of what the product will be formed. With that, alterations can be made accordingly as the creation is still in concept mode. This step is critical as it evaluates the feasibility & conceptualisation of the ideas, with low investment. 

STEP 5 : Pilot
​Once alterations and multiple reviews are done, a few prototypes would go through the pilot stage before scaling. This step focuses on mapping out issues, roadblocks and unforeseen problems prior to going all out. 

STEP 6 : Scale
​This stage focuses on engagement, marketing and operations strategy, as to how the implementation will be done. Most importantly, the impact analysis will be done after this stage. 
Digital Transformation Acceleration Programme (DTAP)
The Digital Transformation Acceleration Programme (DTAP) is an outcome-driven programme that aims to provide Malaysian companies with the necessary tools to help kickstart their digital transformation journey. MDEC and the Malaysian Malaysians Investment Development Authority (MIDA), are providing a matching grant, up to RM500,000, to help companies leverage on Digital Transformation Lab’s (DTL) expertise and assistance to address pain points and identify opportunities in the digital space.
