Dr. Magnus  will talk about managing innovation in a systematic manner built on ISO principles, an emerging practice that is rapidly gaining ground within leading organisations. Azim will be deliberating the culture and mindset required within organisations to embrace this trailblazing new norm, sharing how leaders can embed the practice with great success.   ​

Alex is passionate about behavioral and development economics, as well as social innovation for global development. His work at the UNDP focuses on building partnerships and testing new approaches to public policy issues. 

Some of his achievements include setting up the first Randomized Control Trial to test new approaches to tuberculosis treatment and establishing MiLab, a Social Innovation Hub in Chisinau, Moldova.

Dr. Magnus Karlsson

Magnus is experienced and passionate in innovation management, both in research and in practice. His areas of expertise include developing innovation management systems, strengthening the capabilities of the innovation management professions and developing strategic foresight for organisations worldwide. 

He has over 10 years of experience as the Director of New Business Development and Innovation at Ericsson in Stockholm, and has been working with several major companies in the area of innovation management.

Azim Pawanchik
Innovation Strategist, Alpha Catalyst

Azim has been involved in innovation and R&D close to 25 years. He focuses on guiding organisations develop and execute their growth game strategy, leveraging on innovation. An entrepreneur at heart, Azim is also the driving force in actualising Asia’s first digital innovation and transformation management software for enterprise. He is passionate about exploring the potentials of AI and gamification in the world we live in.

Dr. Suraya Sulaiman

Dr Suraya Sulaiman is a specialist on the social side of innovation implementation, in aspects relating to innovation leadership, culture and capability. She blends scientific approaches when assisting organisations transform towards a more digital ready culture.
