We offer our clients a complete solution to build their capability and capacity to innovate. This involves consulting, facilitation, solution design right up to learning programmes. This can range from conducting 1 hour talks, running innovation workshops, conducting innovation surveys, creating innovative spaces, designing innovation processes, building a team of innovation catalyst or even developing an extensive strategy to get the whole organization to innovate.

Our learning philosophy

Our view is that there is a huge difference between training and learning. Training, is driven by the trainer with specific learning
objectives, while learning is driven by the interplay of the learner and their context. In addition to that, we believe that learning should engage an individual’s whole mind and body. Therefore in all our learning or workshop sessions, we use plenty of facilitation techniques to draw out the participant’s experience and also to make the entire learning process deeper and engaging. We have also introduced several innovative and unconventional approaches in our learning sessions such as the use of:

  • Visual Thinking Techniques using playdough, oil pastel, graphics, etc.
  • Design Thinking using Lego, Physical materials and many others
  • Metaphors e.g. Juggling, Story telling, Akido etc.

Innovation Activation Series  

Innovation Activation - this workshop introduces the participants to the basics of innovation based on the Catalyst for Change ® innovation framework.
 
Innovation Activation Team - this workshop builds on the first Innovation Activation workshop with a stronger emphasis on building the capability to innovate in a team.
 
Leadership Activation - this workshop is designed to build the leaderships skills necessary to facilitate and drive innovation and change in teams and organizations.
 
Innovation Activation Project - a project based workshop that is focused on developing an innovative solution in various areas such as new product development, systems design or gaining customer insight.
 
Strategic Change & Innovation - workshop on strategic thinking, foresight and strategic innovation formulation that focuses on driving growth and high performance through innovation on large scale.

 

 

Energy Activation Series  

Energy Foundation - This workshop focuses on managing an individual’s energy level and uncovering sources of stress and ways to overcome them.

Energy Activation: High Performance under Pressure - This workshop focuses on strategies for achieving high performance, emotional and mental resilience through advanced stress management and brain enhancement techniques.

Advanced Energy Fitness - This workshop is targeted for people under extreme pressure or intense projects who desire a sustained high performance. The workshop also helps participants identify and assist others who are under energized. Advanced level of relaxation techniques are included.

 

 

Catalyst for Change ® Workshop Series  

The Catalyst for Change ® Workshop series is derived from Alpha Catalyst's experience in consulting, facilitating and running workshops for more than 1000 people, from different countries, diverse industries and across various levels. In the wake of globalization, Asian businesses need to embrace the need to constantly change to remain competitive. We believe that to face these challenges, organizations need to develop the capability of the individual to innovate, ensuring that they have the energy to sustain and face up to these new challenges and lastly encourage and propagate innovation as a leader.

Corporate & Social Innovation  

We work hand in hand with the corporate and public community to help spur innovation at multiple levels. We have worked with various universities (IIUM, UITM, LUCT), non- profit organizations and have also supported various events in organizations under this umbrella.

Innovation and the Innovative Mindset @ Limkokwing University - 4th November 2008

In conjunction with the GEW, ACC, a partner of GEW in Malaysia, kicked off their list of events with a talk at LUCT which was appropriately entitled “Innovation and the Innovative Mindset”.

The event was organized by the Business school and was held at the Hall of Fame at LUCT, Cyberjaya. This was attended by about 150 students and lecturers of LUCT mainly from the Business and ICT Faculty. The main objective is to share with them the importance of innovation and the mindset required to innovate.

It was hailed as a very engaging session by the students, many whom subsequently stayed back to seek further information. During the session, attendees managed to profile their preferred thinking style and was exposed to simple yet prolific examples of innovation.
